Is today the day that I throw out all of my darling daughter's toys? It disgusts me to do so, but is it philanthropic to donate (possibly dangerous) toys to someone who may not have the resources to keep up to date with the latest recalls? Or should I just donate a lead test kit along with the booty?
Is today the day that I vow to boycott items made in China? It won't be easy, especially with the holidays approaching. "Made in China vs. Made in the North Pole". Maybe Santa will deliver an Elmo book rather than an Elmo toy this year.
As a self-proclaimed brand-whore/materialistic consumerist I know this won't be easy, but nothing of worth ever is.
